Perfect play between gears and larger oil volume prevents the diff from overheating, extending its lifespan. Rubber sealed composite differential housings are manually precision ground after the molding process to guarantee a perfect fit with no vibration. Differential gears are made from pressed steel, heat treated, and machined for ultra-precision and smooth operation. 46-tooth large external spur gear for center differential made of HUDY toughened steel. Precision machined on a special gear machine. Diff outdrives are made from world-renowned HUDY Spring Steel™, precision ground and heat treated for high precision and ultra-long life. Outdrives are specially lightened to reduce rotating weight while remaining super strong.
